Focus Areas

My emphasis is to make sure that organisations appreciate and use the knowledge and information they have access to effectively. This means that I am careful to assess how good the interactions between different sectors of an organisation are on the people level, as well as in the information sharing and communication processes. My experience has shown that enlightening senior managers to the value of knowledge management leads on to a need for coaching information and knowledge holders to appreciate what they know, and find simple ways of sharing with the right people at the right time. I fully support the need for professional development to ensure people have the  technical and managerial and organisational skills needed to contribute to today's Knowledge Economy.
